Jessica Patton
Jessica is a founding member and Managing Director of 5th Century Partners (“5CP”). She has over a decade of private equity investing and operating experience.
Before founding 5CP, Jessica was a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz’s Cultural Leadership Fund, where she helped build the fund’s strategy from inception. She led initiatives that engaged a network of thousands of diverse investors, operators, and entrepreneurs—driving access to capital, talent, and strategic partnerships across the tech ecosystem.
Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Jessica held operating roles at Roland Foods, a private-equity-backed food distribution business, where she led key commercial growth initiatives. She began her investing career at Solera Capital, a consumer private equity firm.
Jessica received an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.B.A in Finance from Howard University, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors. Jessica is a proud Detroit native who enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter, reading historical fiction and non-fiction, exploring new neighborhoods, and searching for the best coffee in Chicago.
