Chase Culbertson

Chase is a principal at 5th Century Partners (“5CP”). Chase has spent his career in private equity focused on healthcare services, as well as an operator focused on mergers and acquisitions for private equity-backed businesses.

Prior to joining 5CP, Chase was the Head of M&A at Magna Legal Services, a private equity-backed provider of outsourced legal services, where he executed the company’s M&A strategy.  Before Magna, Chase was a private equity investor at Ridgemont Equity Partners and Sheridan Capital Partners, where he focused on healthcare services, primarily within physician services, post-acute care, and behavioral health.  Chase started his career as an investment banker at Piper Jaffrey (n.k.a. Piper Sandler).

Chase holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Healthcare Management and Finance, as well as a B.A. in History from Davidson College. He currently resides in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife, Alyssa, and three children, Jack, Henry, and Lucy.
